**Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)**
This role has the responsibility of adhering to the security and privacy requirements within AFS security trainings and within relevant Accenture Information and Security Policy and Procedures such as AFS-0090 Policy on Privacy and Personal Information and AFS-0056 System Security policies. Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead to support our Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) program. The successful candidate will lead the development and operationalization of next-generation cloud management tools and techniques, in addition to infusing DevSecOps best practices across multiple technical disciplines.

The successful candidate will develop and operationalize next-generation cloud management tools and techniques, and infuse DevOps best practices across multiple technical disciplines.
**Position Description:**
This role has the responsibility of adhering to the security and privacy requirements within AFS security trainings and within relevant Accenture Information and Security Policy and Procedures such as AFS-0090 Policy on Privacy and Personal Information and AFS-0056 System Security policies. The Accenture Federal Services Strategic Solutions (S2) Cloud Practice provides expertise in emerging technologies with an approach unique to cloud. We enable the entire IT mission to modernize and transform into the cutting edge of cloud services through a world-class, CSP and vendor agnostic delivery program. Within the Cloud Practice, the Cloud Management and Optimization Services program provides managed services to multiple U.S. Government customers. SREs coordinate across operations, engineering, and security teams to ensure services are delivered in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Develop and maintain tools for automating operations of a multi-cloud managed services environment leveraging best-of-breed open-source, commercial, cloud-native, and Accenture proprietary tools
+ Collaborate with client delivery teams to develop tools and methods for self-service, on-demand access to cloud resources within established guardrails
+ Collaborate with operations and security teams to maximize automation of standardized, repeatable processes
+ Collaborate with Service Management team to ensure production systems are engineered to cost-effectively meet established SLAs/SLOs
+ Mentor technical staff on the use of automation tools and best practices for adoption of an “everything-as-code” mindset
+ Mentor security staff on the use of policy-as-code and automated enforcement, validation, and remediation of security misconfigurations
+ Collaborate with operations leads to define optimized, product-centric team structures and operating models
+ Collaborate with compliance and security leads to incorporate modern operational practices into the security program to securely and cost-effectively meet the requirements of multiple regulatory/compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, RMF, DoD Cloud SRG, SOC2)
+ Develop initiatives for continual service improvement through relentless automation
+ Support Tier 3+ incident and problem resolution for production customers
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or another technical major or equivalent professional experience
+ CSP Associate level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud.
+ Professional level certification a plus
+ 8-15 years of IT experience with a combination of:
+ 3-4 years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.
+ 4+ years experience debugging Microsoft Windows or Linux based operating systems in an administrative/support/engineering capacity
+ 5+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting development, operations, or engineering within enterprise IT environments
+ Knowledge of multi-cloud automation tools and methodologies
+ Expert-level knowledge with at least one hyper-scale CSP
+ Demonstrable understanding of the challenges of working within a multi-tenant cloud environment for IaaS and/or PaaS services models
+ Experience applying modern software engineering best practices to the management of IT infrastructure and platforms
+ Experience driving change and operational transformation into established teams
+ Self-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a demanding fast paced business and IT environment
+ Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral)
**Other Job Specific Skills**
+ Experience within highly regulated environments, such as U.S. Government agencies
+ Experience with cyber security concepts and managing the balance between business objectives and security compliance
+ Ability to quickly learn business and technology concepts, frameworks, policy, and procedures
+ Advanced certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
+ Security + or CISSP Certification
+ Should be able to communicate effectively in English (Oral and Written) across a broad spectrum of cultural differences
