Dev Tools and Experience is a team that provides our engineers with modern tools and platforms to help them build, test and deliver features to our customers in a fast, safe and compliant way. We are looking for Site Reliability Engineer who will help us in design, fine-tuning and maintenance of our platforms and infrastructure, alongside active development of new tools that will increase productivity of other developers in the company.

What you'll do:

Work side by side with other Site Reliability Engineers and Software Engineers, developing new features increasing productivity and dev experience as a member of a Scrum Team Work closely with architects and across teams to introduce and adopt feature flagging mechanism across various products Actively engage in team meetings, building roadmaps, carving technical vision and spreading knowledge across engineering departament Play a role in developing and fostering Box culture Represent Box Poland internally and externally

Who you are:

Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related fields 2+ years of professional software development experience Familiarity with Linux fundamentals, understanding concepts of ServiceMesh and Observability Knowledge of Kubernetes Proficient in English

Preferred skills:

Python programming experience Solid coding skills

Percentage of Time Spent:

60% coding, fine tuning, infrastructure setup 10% documentation 10% bug fixes 10% meetings 10% on-call support

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
