**How You’ll Help Us Connect the World**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and Power BI Intern. In this role, you will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, reliability engineering, and data visualization to help maintain system performance and provide actionable insights through Power BI dashboards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SRE practices and data analytics in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
**You Will Make an Impact By**
Site Reliability Engineering:
+ Assisting in monitoring, maintaining, and improving the reliability, availability, and performance of systems.
+ Collaborating with the CloudOps and DevOps teams to troubleshoot incidents and implement resolutions.
+ Developing and optimizing automation scripts for deployment pipelines and routine tasks.
+ Contributing to infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform.
+ Analyzing and improving system alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or PagerDuty.
Power BI:
+ Designing and building insightful Power BI dashboards to monitor and visualize system performance metrics.
+ Connecting and transforming data from multiple sources into meaningful reports.
+ Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements for dashboards and reports.
+ Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reports.
+ Documenting processes and maintain templates for repeatable analyses.
**Required Qualifications for Consideration**
+ Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree inthe following Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering from an accredited university
+ Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
+ Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Prometheus).
+ Knowledge of Power BI for creating dashboards and visualizations.
+ Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
+ Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

**You Will Excite Us If You**
+ Have coursework or projects in cloud computing, SRE practices, or data analytics.
+ Have experience with Git or other version control systems.
+ Are familiar with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
+ Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
+ Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
+ Are able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
+ Possess strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
+ Have strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
+ Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
