We are seeking a talented individual to join our IT Systems Engineering team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.
Site Reliability Engineering – DevOps
We will count on you to:
Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure for a .NET platform on AWS and VMWare.Develop and automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal reliability and performance of our applications.Partner with Cloud Security to implement and enforce security best practices to protect our cloud-based systems and data.Partner with wider technology team to manage pipeline gatesDevelop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and site reliability engineering.Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience in a cloud engineering or site reliability engineering role.Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.Proficiency in virtualization technologies, particularly VMWare.Experience with containerization technologiesIn-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and .NET platform.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python with solid understanding of networking principles and protocolsWhat makes you stand out:
