WHS（Workplace Health and Safety）チームについて：
このチームは、アマゾンの物流拠点で働く全ての人々が安全で安心して業務を行える環境を提供する部署です。具体的には、安全のためのルールを整備し、関係部署と連携しながら、FCの安全をリードします。現場に即した安全を提供するために、慣例にとらわれず、リスクを的確に捉えて柔軟な判断を行い、真の安全を追求しています。

WHS マネージャー スタンダードワーク（共通）
役割の範囲
WHS（職場の健康と安全）のマネージャーの役割は、WHSチームをまとめて、職場の安全を守るための仕事をしています。具体的には、事故を防ぐためのアドバイスをしたり、職場での安全基準を守るようにリーダーと協力したりします。また、チームメンバーに仕事を割り振って、その進捗を見守り、改善点があれば指導します。そして、何か問題があれば、必要な人たちに報告して対処します。
いろいろなタスクがあり、それぞれ決められた時間や場所で行われます。たとえば、毎日、データのチェックや怪我の報告の確認をする必要があります。また、週に1回、現場を歩いて安全を確認する活動もあります。その他にも、会議への出席や問題があったときに調査を行うなど、いろいろな仕事があります。すべての仕事は、チームや他の人と協力して進めることが大切です。

Site WHS Area Managerの役割：
この役職では、担当するFCにおける自然災害、火災、FC内での業務に関わるリスクを検出し、それに対する予防措置や是正措置を導入します。また、安全に関わる事故の防止と削減を計画し、関連部署と協力して実行します。例えば、機械の安全管理や作業安全管理を標準化し、さらに効果的で効率的な方法を全体に展開します。リスクの低減、教育システムの構築、データ解析による事故低減といった幅広い役割を担います。

具体的な業務内容は以下の通りです：

担当サイトのWHS年間目標と計画の作成および実施支援
リスクアセスメントと内部監査の実施
防火・防災対策の計画立案と導入
1～２名程度の直属の部下の採用、勤怠管理、業務指導、キャリア開発・育成
メンタル面のケア、エンゲージメントの向上
アマゾンでは現場を何よりも大切にしているため、安全のスキルを活かして高い現場力を発揮することが求められます。また、社内外のパートナーと協力して体制を構築することも重要な業務の一部です。そのため、安全スキルだけでなく、優れたビジネスマナーや高いコミュニケーション能力も必要です。

業務の割合：

60%：担当FCサイトにおけるEHS（環境・健康・安全）目標および活動内容の計画立案と実行（教育・訓練、監査、リスクアセスメントなど）
20%：担当Fulfillment centerサイトのメンバー育成（目標設定および実行支援、専門知識・一般知識の醸成、評価）
10%：安全に関わる事故発生時の情報収集、原因調査、是正対策の立案・実施、是正措置の有効性確認、他のFulfillment centerサイトのネットワーク内への共有と類似事故発生防止
10%：Amazon Global Policyに基づく安全手順書の作成、導入、維持および他サイトの安全活動サポート（監査、安全対策導入のサポート、安全衛生委員会、関連する会議出席など）
このように、WHS:Workplace Health & Safety(EHS)マネージャーは多岐にわたる安全管理業務を担当し、アマゾンの物流拠点での安全をリードする重要な役割を果たします。

### About the WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) Team:
This team ensures a safe and secure working environment for everyone at Amazon’s fulfillment centers. Specifically, it establishes safety rules and leads the FC’s safety efforts while collaborating with relevant departments. The team takes a flexible approach, free from rigid conventions, to accurately assess risks and make adaptive decisions, all in pursuit of genuine safety.

### WHS Manager Standard Work (General)
#### Scope of the Role:
The role of the WHS Manager involves leading the WHS team to ensure workplace safety. This includes offering advice on accident prevention, working with leaders to uphold safety standards, assigning tasks to team members, monitoring progress, and providing guidance when improvements are needed. In case of issues, the WHS Manager reports to the necessary personnel to address them.

Various tasks are carried out according to scheduled times and locations. For instance, daily tasks include checking data and reviewing injury reports. Weekly duties involve walking through the site to check for safety hazards. Additionally, the WHS Manager participates in meetings and conducts investigations when problems arise. The role requires working closely with the team and other stakeholders to ensure success.

### Responsibilities of the Site WHS Area Manager:
This role entails detecting risks such as natural disasters, fires, and operational risks within the FC you are responsible for, and implementing preventive and corrective measures. You will also plan and execute strategies to prevent and reduce safety-related accidents, standardize safety management procedures for machinery and operations, and deploy effective methods across the network. The position covers a broad range of responsibilities, including risk mitigation, building educational systems, and using data analysis to reduce accidents.

#### Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the creation and execution of annual WHS goals and plans for the assigned site.
- Conducting risk assessments and internal audits.
- Planning and implementing fire prevention and disaster response measures.
- Recruiting, managing attendance, providing guidance, and developing the careers of 1-2 direct reports.
- Providing mental health care and enhancing engagement.
- Amazon prioritizes operations, and this role demands the ability to demonstrate strong safety skills and operational leadership at the site. Collaborating with both internal and external partners to build robust systems is also crucial, requiring not only safety expertise but also strong business manners and excellent communication skills.

### Work Distribution:
- 60%: Planning and executing EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) goals and activities (training, audits, risk assessments, etc.) for the assigned FC site.
- 20%: Developing team members (goal setting and execution support, fostering specialized and general knowledge, evaluation).
- 10%: Collecting information, investigating causes, and implementing corrective actions in the event of safety-related accidents. Also, sharing corrective measures within the network to prevent similar incidents.
- 10%: Creating, implementing, and maintaining safety procedures based on Amazon Global Policy, and supporting safety activities at other sites (audits, safety measure implementation, safety committees, attending related meetings, etc.).

### A Day in the Life:
1) On-site work at the assigned FC.
2) Occasional site visits, audits, and business trips to the Tokyo headquarters.
3) Shift work with 10 days off per month (primarily day shifts, though night shifts may occur during peak periods upon discussion).

We are currently seeking a WHS Manager to lead the core department responsible for safety at one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers (FC). In this role, you will collaborate efficiently with various operational departments to lead safety activities in a large FC, create a safety culture, and contribute to the reliable delivery of products to every customer.

As a WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) Manager, you will lead efforts to ensure a safe environment for all employees working at Amazon’s FCs by establishing rules and collaborating with relevant departments. This position allows you to take flexible and adaptive approaches to risk management while aiming to achieve true safety.

### Key Responsibilities of the Site Safety Sr. Area Manager:
- Detecting and addressing risks such as natural disasters, fires, and operational risks within the FC.
- Planning and executing strategies for accident prevention and reduction.
- Standardizing safety management procedures while continuously seeking more effective methods for implementation across the network.
- Reducing risks, building educational systems, and using data analysis to reduce accidents.

#### Specific Responsibilities:
- Supporting the creation and execution of annual WHS goals and plans for the assigned site.
- Conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and fire/disaster prevention planning.
- Managing 1-2 direct reports, including recruitment, attendance management, guidance, career development, and mental health care.
- Leading by example with strong site-based safety skills to ensure the highest operational standards are maintained.
- Collaborating with both internal and external partners to build robust systems, leveraging strong business manners and communication skills.

### Work Breakdown:
- 50%: Planning and executing EHS goals and activities at the site (training, audits, risk assessments, etc.).
- 30%: Developing team members (goal setting, execution support, fostering specialized and general knowledge, evaluation).
- 10%: Investigating safety-related incidents, implementing corrective measures, verifying effectiveness, and sharing insights within the network to prevent similar incidents.
- 10%: Creating and maintaining safety procedures according to Amazon Global Policy, supporting other sites’ safety activities, and attending relevant meetings.
