Job Description:

Site Security Managers (SSM) play a critical role in the construction of a secure facility.  Their role is a critical and necessary role for the facilities final accreditation as outlined by the Intelligence Community Directive 705.  The SSM serves as a subject matter expert and performs quality control for the customer, ensuring the construction security plan is adhered to throughout the construction process.

HOW A SITE SECURITY MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Ensures the construction requirements for the proposed facility are in compliance with the ICD-705 and the needs of the customer

Ensures compliance with the construction security plan (CSP), including documenting the process and the security features of work through photos

Oversees control of the site access as per the CSP

Periodically conducts security inspections throughout the construction process

Documents security violations or deviations from the CSP or the ICD-705 and reporting these findings to the Accreditation Official

Provide day-to-day security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures and systems

Assist in developing, implanting, and training the Operations Security program

Brief all levels of personnel, both in the government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security related topics

Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews and facility close-outs

Monitor, report and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews

Ensures timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Experience

8+ years related experience;

Construction Manager Experience

Former Construction Surveillance Technician, with certification

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years)*

Certification

Commercial Blueprint Reading Certification

ICD 705 secure space construction certification

Site Security Manager certification or ability to pass a recognized course within 45 days of hire

Security Clearance Level

Required - TS/SCI

Must be able to obtain - TS/SCI with CI polygraph

The likely salary range for this position is $89,505 - $121,095. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
