Job Description:

Vaxcom Services, Inc (a Parsons company) is looking for an amazingly talented Site Security Manager to join our team! This officer will serve as Vaxcom’s onsite Security Manager at one of our field locations.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead a Security Team in a Data Center Secure environment according to Client expectations and Statement of Work/Work OrderControl access to facility by monitoring surveillance equipment, while ensuring all personnel entering site have the proper credentialsMaintain or oversee maintenance of weekly operating schedules and provide after-hour emergency response as requiredOversee response to situations on site using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established Use of Force PolicyOversee response to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents that may occur during day or nightOversee execution of program management plan and Statement of Work/Work OrderMeet or exceed cost-saving/efficiency & operational goals while providing exceptional customer serviceProvide technical guidance and oversight to subordinates within the work groupMonitor productivity and proficiency to ensure that completed assignments meet the Client’s required quality standards, budgets, and proceduresParticipate in interview and selection processes as neededMaintain clear and concise work standards and goals, and provide training and developmentEnsure that assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in and observe all safety measures related to their work area according to Client requirementsAssume regular Security Officer roles and responsibilitiesFacilitate communication and act as point of contact for security matters at a specific location, responsible for coordinating communication between on-site security personnel, PMO and Client while ensuring compliance with security protocols, by actively monitoring site conditions, identifying potential risks, and facilitating timely responses to security incidents. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Required Skills:

Active Top-Secret ClearanceCollege or university program certificate; OR ten (10) years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experienceFive years’ experience in either Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security, or the United States Armed Forces.Minimum of at least five (5) years’ experience in security management or program management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within the government contracting/security sectorMust have at least one of the following: Experience in a State licensed security services occupation or be a current or former member (honorable discharge) of the United States Armed ForcesStrong understanding of federal regulations, compliance requirements and security operationsProven track record in managing large-scale security programs, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and experience with advanced security technologiesExperience supporting government programs/contracts within the Intelligence Community (IC)Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated proficiency and a working knowledge of company policies and proceduresUnderstanding of Employee and Independent Contractor modelsDCJS Licensed or able to obtain.

Salary Range: 

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
