KBR is looking for an experienced Site Security Manager to oversee and manage all security operations at a new facility in development. This role requires excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of security protocols, procedures, and the ICD 705. The Site Security Manager will be tasked with developing a construction security plan, fixed facility checklist, tempest evaluation, risk assessment, and other SCIF accreditation requirements as well as implementing security policies and procedures and coordinating with applicable agencies. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and assets and managing a team of security personnel, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to handle any security challenges. The candidate will have extensive experience in security management and excellent communication skills. This is a critical role that requires a proactive approach to security, commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment and eagerness to work with a team of professionals in building a new program from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement security policies and procedures.Develop SCIF accreditation documents required by DIAImplement ICD 705 requirements.Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.Manage a team of security personnel.Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards.Monitor security systems and respond to alarms and incidents.Prepare and present security reports to senior management.Implement and oversee access control and visitor management systems.Investigate security breaches and incidents.Develop emergency response plans.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends and threats.Ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of security equipment.Develop and maintain relationships with external security vendors.Provide security advice and support to senior managers, vendors, and other agency personnel.

Work Environment:

Location: Hybrid (Must be in the Colorado Springs area)Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%Working Hours: Standard (M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Required Qualifications: 

Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor's degree (or applicable experience) in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.5 years of SCIF and SAPF construction experienceICD-705 Subject Matter Expert

Basic Compensation: 

$100- 130k

  

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. 

  

Additional Compensation: 

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
