Introduction

As Site Services Co-ordinator at our Hatfield Distribution Warehouse you will be responsible for the accurate completion of the many inspections and maintenance tasks across the site  to ensure the smooth running of one of our distribution centres delivering our fantastic products across the nation

 

The successful candidate will report directly to the Site Service Manager and will be responsible for resolving and escalating where necessary the frequent breakdowns of equipment used at site and prompt communication made to the relevant maintenance provider to ensure efficient repair.

 

You will restrict, control and coordinate the use of various approved contractors and service providers used at Hatfield RDC and become their first point of contact in order to effectively maintain the integrity of our equipment and products and safeguard and protect our colleagues, buildings and assets. You will assist with new and ongoing projects.

 

You will also assist and support our regular MHE Engineers and catering providers who work at site on a daily basis and ensure that all our third party colleagues are inducted appropriately and are made fully aware of any risks associated whilst working on our site.

 

Main Responsibilities
 

Accurate completion of the various QEHS inspection documents and check sheets required to support the frequent internal & external audits carried out at Hatfield on an annual basis Capture and document accurate meter readings to enable monitoring of the site’s utility usage in line with the company’s sustainability targets and the site’s climate change agreement Control the use of approved contractors and service providers used at site Ensure authorisation to work and permit to work documents are issues in accordance with RAMS Deliver site inductions to all contractors and service providers on an annual basis Complete and maintain the contractor induction matrix Update the Daily Site Service log for site Provide maintenance support to all departments in an efficient and structured manner Perform a wide variety of tasks within the Site Services department ie: coordination of regular fire & ammonia alarm soundings and planned evacuations Ability to carry out basic maintenance tasks when required Participate in the implementation and carrying out of facility assignments Coordinating the hire and de-hire of all access equipment with approved suppliers

 

Skills:

The successful candidate will posses good IT skills within Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent organisational and prioritisations skills as well as being a excellent communicator at all levels. We are looking for somebody who is goal orientated and has the ability to work to deadlines.
