**Location/Division Specific Information**
This is a Site Specialist position with the Unity Lab Services team focused on service delivery excellence at client sites located in the Thousand, Ca region.
**Discover Impactful Work:**
Specific activities relative to the job function could include a portfolio of services including inventory managment, order management, operating customer receiving/procurement systems, stockroom services, material handling, order entry, shipping/receiving, chemical registration.
**A day in the Life:**
Perform inventory replenishment and disbursements including product management, backorder resolution, stockroom/POU (Point of Use) maintenance activities, and coordination with sales team to ensure product availability
Participate in individual or group projects and meetings that can include cross-coverage training, cost savings analysis, learning groups, writing work instructions and developing job training methods
Perform stockroom duties to include receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements.
**Education**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience**
Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred; experience in GLP/GMP environment preferred.
Excellence in customer service skills.
Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes team environment.
Computer/software skills. (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
Works primarily at customer locations, in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations and laboratory environments.
Extensive walking may be required.
May pass through areas where chemical-based allergens may be in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc.).
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Use of material handling equipment such as push carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Depending on area of building, personal protective equipment may be worn to include lab coats, coveralls, hood, facemask, hairnets, steel toe shoes, bump hats, safety gloves and/or safety glasses.
**Physical Requirements / Work Environment**
Works primarily at customer locations, in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations and laboratory environments.
Walking/standing required for 75-85% of the day.
May pass through areas where chemical-based allergens may be in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc.).
Ability to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 lbs.
Personal protective equipment (lab coats, coveralls, hood, facemask, hairnets and/or safety gloves) in certain buildings/areas.
Some areas require steel toe shoes, bump hats and/or safety glasses.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.78–$25.16.
