Facilities Management Site Supervisor
Location: Paris, France
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Site Supervisor to join our team in Paris, France. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing both hard and soft services on-site, managing vendors, and driving continuous service improvement to ensure optimal facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage hard services:
Oversee maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance schedulesEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standardsSupervise soft services:
Manage cleaning, security, and reception servicesOversee catering and vending operationsCoordinate space management and movesVendor management:
Select, evaluate, and manage service providersNegotiate contracts and monitor performanceEnsure vendors adhere to quality standards and SLAsDrive service improvement:
Implement best practices and innovative solutionsAnalyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvementDevelop and execute action plans to enhance service deliveryTeam leadership:
Supervise and motivate on-site facilities teamProvide training and development opportunitiesEnsure adherence to company policies and proceduresBudget management:
Monitor and control facilities-related expensesPrepare and manage annual budgetsIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising qualityHealth, safety, and environmental management:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsConduct regular safety inspections and risk assessmentsImplement and maintain environmental sustainability initiativesStakeholder communication:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fieldProfessional certifications such as FMP (Facility Management Professional) or equivalent are preferredExperience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleProven track record in managing both hard and soft servicesExperience with vendor management and contract negotiationsSkills:
Strong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsProficiency in facilities management software and MS Office suiteStrong analytical and budgeting skillsKnowledge:
In-depth understanding of building systems and maintenance practicesFamiliarity with French building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standardsKnowledge of energy management and sustainability practicesLanguage:
Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken)Personal qualities:
