Our client is an industry leader in residential home building construction and is looking for a Site Supervisor to join the team. The position offers career development and growth, exposure to all phases of the residential construction process. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of ensuring residential construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Site Supervisor Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Production Team to ensure all phases of construction are executed smoothly. Oversee subcontractors, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. Contribute to decisions regarding the development and implementation of construction methodology. Work with the project team to problem-solve on-site issues as they arise. Lead and provide guidance to project team members on-site. Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders, ensuring clarity in expectations and updates. Manage all conflict by dealing with issues professionally and promptly. Proactively seek solutions to potential issues, escalating when needed. Demonstrate leadership in maintaining health, safety, and environmental protection standards on-site. Coordinate with trades and suppliers to ensure the proper flow of materials and manpower.
The Successful Candidate Has:
Previous experience in residential construction is a must. Strong customer service skills and a solution-focused mindset. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing conditions. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with homeowners and subcontractors.
Compensation and Benefits:
