Site Supervisor
Aplin has partnered with a Winnipeg-based company to hire a Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor will provide supervisory oversight for all phases of the build process from excavation to the pre-possession. This includes making sure the site is safe, coordinating sub-trades and materials to the site, ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is being done at the required quality levels, and proceeding as per the production schedule.

Perks and Benefits: Benefits being offered along with a gas card, vehicle allowance for travel within the city of Winnipeg onlyResponsibilities: Ensure the construction site is safe, clean, and organized and that all sub-trades are following applicable Safety & Health procedures by the Home Builder and Manitoba Safety & Health ActProvide direction to sub-trades as required to get work done as per the production scheduleCoordinate materials to the siteInspections completed daily whether it is to follow up on work done or a framing inspection with framing sub-trade or ensuring the site is ready for City InspectionEnsure all work is being done as per drawings and specifications at the required quality levelsEnsure that the work done by sub-trades is completed as per scheduled dates and provide weekly updates to the Construction ManagerQualifications: Post-secondary in construction-related field preferredExperience in construction management/leadership requiredStrong planning and organizational skills and effective time managementThe ability to communicate effectively and problem-solveMust have great computer skills
