SITE SUPERVISOR - COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

The Service Supervisor provides management and direction of the programs for which they are responsible. In collaboration with the Program Manager, this position ensures the quality, integrity, safety, and coordination of the program in meeting the needs of clients, family members, payers, regulatory bodies and program goals.

Job Duties / Essential Functions

Responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of services for individuals under their direction. Ensure program contribution margins meet or exceed budgeted figures. Ensure systems are in place for billing directly from clinical documentation of services that were provided. Ensure program services meet standards established by regulatory agencies and KidsPeace policies. Recruit, hire, orient and train sufficient staff of an appropriate variety of disciplines to provide services. Identify areas of growth in services for the organization. Provide on-going supervision and evaluation of staff and service quality. Ensure documentation is thorough and complete and filed according to KidsPeace policies. Assume the responsibilities of direct reports when staff vacancy or work volume dictates it, based on the need to provide services that meet the client's needs and regulatory and payer requirements. Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated by attending bi-annual training on the continuum and communicating with associates between levels of care and actively seeking opportunities to share information about the continuum with consumers as evidenced by written documentation in the client record.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

Master's degree in a mental health field required. Appropriate professional licensure preferred. Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred. Demonstrated management experience in progressively responsible positions in child/adolescent mental health services required. Valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certifications required for SCM approved programs. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. Must be 21 years of age
