The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our Project Delivery team. This is an initial 12 month contract position (with possibility of extension or permanent employment) responsible for coordinating the installation, commissioning and engineering activities on large-scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring that the building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production to meet the client's specifications, within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with travel required to our various sites Australia wide.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

Reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installationsLiaising with project team, clients, builders and sub-contractorsProactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the EnvironmentObtaining and managing necessary materials and resourcesOrganising and supervising the subcontractors installing equipment to maintain project scheduleDay to day management of sub-contractorsCoordinating regular inspection of works for quality assuranceSupervise commissioning activitiesEnsuring safe installation procedures are followed

About You - What We Are Looking For

5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projectsFormal qualifications in engineering highly regarded or from a trades backgroundExperience on construction sitesKnowledge of material handling equipment highly desirableMechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret drawingsThorough knowledge of WHS requirementsStrong communication skillsProven leadership skillsStrong computer skills in MS office productsFlexibility to travel Australia wide
