Chemours is seeking a Turnaround Leader to join our growing Operations team. This position will be available at the Corpus Christi facility located in Ingleside, Texas and report directly to the M&R Manager.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Collaborates with site leadership to ensure long range, prioritized strategies for outage management are defined and executed on a schedule that supports site TAR cycles.
Provide TAR and major project scheduling and coordination support utilizing Primavera scheduling software.
Drive TAR scheduling best practices at the site by providing training, oversight and mentorship to site resources.
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
Assist in preparing schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations.
Assist with the development of staffing and resource leveling plans.
Supervise Corpus Christi TAR scheduling resources in all aspects of Primavera scheduling, utilization, and application.
Analyze current TAR and major project planning and scheduling activities, SAP data management and utilization, and recommend upgrades and improvements.
Develop and drive performance against TAR Budget
Lead regular TAR meetings to review schedule and critical path progress.
Assist with evaluating TAR planners and schedulers to ensure best practice compliance.
Analyze TAR preparation activities including job kitting and material acquisition.
Responsible for capturing and analyzing data to assure outage program goals and associated risks are being appropriately executed
Develop and assess key TAR performance metrics to ensure adjustments are made real time to maintain schedule milestones.
Responsible for closing out outages by documenting outage completion, lessons learned, and corrective actions
The following is required for this role:
Five year (min) construction and/or plant operations experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to gather and evaluate complex schedule logic information.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Primavera, SAP, Microsoft Office applications, etc.
Ability to manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously.
Ability to provide strong and effective leadership.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment.
The following preferred in this role:
Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a Technical or business related discipline
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and direct outage planning
Leadership ability, primarily through influence management
Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with ability to influence managers, peers and team
Effective communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
General knowledge and understanding of plant systems and formality of operations
