Six Sigma Engineer - Quality Team

We are seeking a Lean Six Sigma Engineer that will support the Quality team to join our Manufacturing Quality team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing measurement systems, utilizing Six Sigma methodologies, and applying data analysis techniques to ensure the highest standards of quality across production lines. This role is essential in supporting continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing product quality through data-driven insights.

You will make an impact by:

Measurement Systems Development: Design and implement measurement systems and control plans to accurately assess quality performance and ensure consistency in production. Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement, presenting findings to the quality team and stakeholders. Six Sigma Methodology Application: Use Six Sigma tools and techniques to support process improvement initiatives, reducing variability and driving consistent quality outcomes. Process Audits & Improvements: Conduct regular process audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Support Continuous Improvement Projects: Assist in continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize quality processes. Collaboration with Quality Team: Work closely with Quality Engineers, Production Managers, and other team members to ensure that all quality standards and objectives are met.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt preferred). 4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality support or a similar role. Proficient in statistical analysis and data management software. Knowledge of measurement systems analysis (MSA) and quality control principles. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualification:

Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action planning. Hands-on experience with Lean methodologies and process improvement tools.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
