Job Summary: 

Work with Development and Competition coaches to provide quality ski instruction and coaching of athlete development to groups and individuals in a safe and fun manner while upholding all Skier Safety Act rules/regulations and Company guidelines.  We are an in-house team, with foundation support and tremendous growth opportunities.  

  

Job Specifications:   

Outlet: Mount Snow Training Center  Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.00 / hour  Shift type: Part Time, Weekends and Holidays   Skill Level: Advanced 

Job Responsibilities: 

Upholding the highest levels of guest and personal safety on varied terrain in high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions.   Clearly and accurately instructing assigned levels of skiing to students, both physically and verbally.   Assisting guests to load and unload the chairlift.   Clearly communicating instructions and assisting athletes during training sessions; lifting children by the vest (if applicable).   Supervise athletes in training at all times; assisting at lunch and snack times; ensuring return of athletes to identified guardian.   Assist with supervision of the children throughout the day  Positive, informative and courteous communication with guests

 

  Job Requirements:   

Attend Ski and Ride training sessions     Must have excellent guest service skills   Must have excellent communication skills   Must work well in a team   Ability to interact on appropriate level with children  Enthusiasm toward children  Willingness to learn  Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment   Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions   Must be available to work holidays and weekends   Must be able to lift, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently.   Must be age 16 years or older per our Kids on Lifts policy for all Ski School programs

 

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $21.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
