Ski Tuner

SUMMARY

The Ski Tuner is responsible for assisting with ski maintenance & upkeep of ski rental fleet while creating a professional back of house atmosphere.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensure strong ski shop knowledge of waxing, base repair, tune machine set up and maintenanceMaintain rental shop set up and flow of equipmentEnsure weekly, monthly, and annual testing of binding in rental fleetDrive ski tuning revenue; and ensure rental fleet is in best condition, properly waxed and maintained at all timesMust become familiar with all services and standards within the hotel

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of one years’ experience in a luxury hotel preferredMinimum of two years’ experience in ski tuningExperience with Crystal One and Wintersteiger preferredExcellent telephone etiquetteExceptional guest recovery skillsEnjoy interacting with people in a fast paced environmentExcellent organizational and time management skillsMust possess a positive attitudeMust be willing to participate in a learning environmentMust integrate company values throughout all interactionsMust be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. Some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) will be required.
