**What is the job about?**
As a Skilled Calibration Technician II, you will ensure that all calibrated equipment within the plant is controlled and calibrated on-time I/A/W local and group standardsas required under direction of the Senior Quality Manager.
This position reports directly to our QHS&E Manager and will operate out of the Fresno, California facility daily.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.
The pay range for this position is $59,198 - $79,249USD annuals. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.
Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.
**Your main responsibilities:**
+ Provide calibration and repair support on Inspection, Measuring, and Test equipment (IMT&E).
+ Coordinate all external calibration requirements both locally and internationally.
+ On-going cost reduction program for calibration savings with yearly savings reported through deactivation of obsolete equipment or extending calibration cycles where it makes sense.
+ Develop, implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program for measuring instruments using SAP calibration software (MTTR).
+ Utilize approved procedures and measurement uncertainties when calibrating IMT&E.
+ Assist in developing effective calibration procedures.
+ Ensure compliance to all laboratory procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
+ Assist in the deployment of calibration test systems.
+ Maintain laboratory calibration capabilities in accordance with laboratory procedures.
+ Ensure proper completion, and documentation, on assigned calibrations, tests, data collection, and analysis.
+ Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with laboratory procedures, policies, and practices.
+ Provide required documents, forms, and reports to management.
+ Provide primary backup for incoming inspection personnel.
+ Support the Manufacturing floor with:
+ Gauge protection and treatment
+ Proper measuring techniques
+ Critical Characteristics audits of process and bracket two dimensions.

**Your background**
**We imagine that you have:**
+ Associate’s degree preferred or 5 years of experience in a similar role or combination of education and experience.
+ Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated success in tasks requiring attention to detail.
+ Positive and supportive approach working in a cross-functional team environment.
+ Knowledge and experience in applying problem-solving techniques.
+ Familiarity with torque, temperature, pressure, and electrical instrument calibration.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Proficiency in using basic and advanced measurement tools.
+ Capability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and control instructions.
+ Ability to thrive in a factory environment.
+ Experience in a quality role or customer service is advantageous.
+ Knowledge of Quality Normativity (ISO9001:2015 and/or ISO TS 16949).
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
+ SAP Knowledge a plus and experience in Water pump Manufacturing a plus.
