Responsibilities

This position is responsible for proper operations of mechanical systems and equipment. These systems are life support systems of essential utilities including heating ventilation and air conditioning critical and commercial refrigeration special ventilation hoods terminal and control equipment automated building systems and direct building controls.


Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years commercial HVAC experience to include heating air conditioning electrical plumbing the ability to read maps and schematics and experience with building automation and controls.Driver's License 1.Knowledge of standard practices of HVAC and refrigeration. 2.Knowledge of materials methods and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems. 3.Knowledge of air compressors and pneumatic controls. 4.Knowledge of welding and soldering techniques for HVAC refrigeration. 5.Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment. 6.Cleaning adjusting repairing HVAC system. 7.Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning reheat coils and air handling units and monitoring and calibrating air handling units. 8.Completes inspections of all refrigeration systems and equipment according to established procedures on PM’s. 9.Assist contractors with building information as needed. 10.Building automation and refrigeration.
