Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s General Maintenance Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Tool and Die Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standards.

Reporting to the General Maintenance Supervisor, the person in this role will support Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMMTX), the facility that produces the Tundra and Tacoma pick-up trucks. Our manufacturing operations include Stamping, Body Weld, Assembly, Paint, and Plastics.
Perform welding, grinding, operating cranes, machining, and fabricationProblem-solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivityPerform preventative maintenance on stamping dies according to standardized proceduresPerform machining and fabricating on stamping dies for repair or improvementTroubleshoot die performance in a stamping press to resolve or enhance formability issuesPerform die modifications for surface quality and accuracyWork in a diverse team towards a common goalOccasionally travel to support off-site activities at NAMC’s and Toyota affiliatesWhat you bring
Experience building and/or maintaining high-volume casting (or stamping) dies, welding ability, and machiningExperience in industrial maintenance and/or military experienceElectrical and mechanical knowledgeDemonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solvingTechnical knowledge and skills in the following areas: Tool & Die, Welding, and MachiningAvailable to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdownsAdded bonus if you have
