Kettering Health Greene Memorial, formerly Greene Memorial Hospital, is situated in the heart of Xenia where they have been serving patients from Jamestown, Cedarville, Yellow Springs, Waynesville, and beyond for over 65 years. In 2020, KH Greene Memorial received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.Accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric troyke Emergency Department.49 bed facility KH Greene Memorial was awarded by Healthgrades for:Patient Safety Excellence (2017-2019)Outstanding Patient Experience (2019) Responsibilities & RequirementsFire Alarm techs test, and document according to NFPA 72 standards. This position is 50% testing and 50% paperwork for HFAP, CMS, State and Local fire departments.
Individual must be a self-starter and be able to plan ahead to complete all monthly required testing and documentation.
Keeps all regulatory documentation to make sure everything is completed on time.
Requirements:
High School diploma, or equivalent requiredValid driver’s license requiredFire Alarm License Required.HVAC, Electrical, Electronic experience helpful
Responsibilities:
Advance knowledge of basic tools requiring dexterity, hand eye coordination and visual coordination2-3 years experience in commercial/residential maintenancePC skills (Word, Excel) RequiredKnowledge of building components, institutional maintenance and repair practices.Knowledge of how to work safelyIn good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities.Depending on job type, different skills would be required.Knowledge of Fire systems, including sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, suppression systems, etc.Required to help other trades as directed by supervisor.
Job skills for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of advanced systems.
