Position Summary: The Skilled Tradesman is responsible for the work activities in one or more of the following skilled trades; HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and Mechanical. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy Duties & Responsibilities: + Adhere to the vision and guiding principles of the Finance and Administration Division + Completes general carpenter construction projects + Completes carpenter maintenance repairs + Prepares reports/work orders and other paperwork + Adhere to Arkansas State University's safety policies and procedures and manufacturer's safety instructions + Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to paint with latex, oil stains and/or sheetrock finishing and repair General Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance Other: Please note: all position postings close at 12:00 A.M.
