Skills Lab Education Coordinator

Job Summary
The Nursing Skills Lab Education Coordinator would have a background in inpatient clinical experience that provides the foundation for working with the Professional Development team to set up and implement a Nursing Skills Lab.
Core Duties:
+ Research skills lab supply needs: Mannequins, hospital equipment, etc.
+ Train PDS team on use of equipment within the skills lab
+ Communicate with PD Manager and PDS team on progress in obtaining supplies
+ Work with PD team to design skills lab space set-up
+ Organize supplies and set up a storage area for all supplies
+ Work with PDS team to build simulations for nursing staff utilizing supplies
+ Maintain equipment and assist with preparations for classes within the skills lab
+ Monitor skills lab supply pars and work with PD Manager to maintain par levels
+ Assists PD team with facilitating skills-based education
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Two years of inpatient clinical experience
Required Certifications, Licensure:
+ American Heart Association BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications/Additional Skills:
+ Interest in nursing education preferred
