SLED Program Manager

We are seeking a motivated and organized SLED Program Manager to support programs across the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market. This position will play a key role in managing and coordinating programs related to E-rate, lobbying efforts, education support initiatives, channel business enablement, and sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in public sector programs, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to grow within the SLED market. This role will also contribute to focused outreach campaigns designed to engage key stakeholders and drive program success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

              •             Program Coordination and Support:

              •             Assist in the development, execution, and monitoring of programs within the SLED vertical, including E-rate, lobbying initiatives, and education support programs.

              •             Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful delivery of program goals and milestones.

              •             E-rate Program Assistance:

              •             Support the E-rate program lifecycle, including compliance tracking, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.

              •             Help identify and address school and library funding needs under the E-rate program.

              •             Lobbying and Advocacy Support:

              •             Assist in organizing and managing lobbying efforts focused on educational and governmental policy initiatives.

              •             Coordinate with stakeholders to gather data and prepare materials to support advocacy campaigns.

              •             Channel Business Support and Enablement:

              •             Collaborate with channel partners to facilitate business growth and program alignment.

              •             Provide program updates, resources, and support to channel partners to ensure their success in engaging with SLED opportunities.

              •             Assist in managing partner enablement initiatives, including training, communication, and engagement events.

              •             Focused Outreach Campaigns:

              •             Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage public sector stakeholders, including education administrators and government officials.

              •             Coordinate campaign strategies across digital platforms, events, and direct engagement efforts.

              •             Monitor the success of campaigns through metrics and feedback to refine future outreach efforts.

              •             Education and Sales Operations:

              •             Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align program initiatives with organizational goals.

              •             Monitor program budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

 

Qualifications:

              •             Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Education, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field or related experience.

              •             Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

              •             Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

              •             Familiarity with public sector programs, such as E-rate, or a strong desire to learn about them.

              •             Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

              •             Interest in public policy, education, and sales operations within the SLED market.

 

Preferred Skills:

              •             Knowledge of the E-rate program or public sector funding processes.

              •             Experience in coordinating projects or programs, even in academic or volunteer settings.

              •             Familiarity with CRM systems, campaign management, or data management tools.

              •             Experience working with or supporting channel business partners is a plus.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. On target earnings for this position is expected to be $85,000 - $140,000. per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, and this position is also eligible for commissions based on the terms of the Sales Compensation Plan
