This position provides service to Home Care patients through delivery, assembly, and instruction on safe use, follow-up visits, and on-call trouble shooting of durable medical equipment (DME). Completes daily logging, documentation, and follow-up on medical equipment and patients following all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities Delivers and instructs patients at home in the setup of specified types of home medical equipment, in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. Provide patient education 1:1 or group setting as needed for demonstrations.
Completes documentation associated with delivery of products in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.Communicates any change in the patient's home setting or equipment usage to their direct supervisor.Develops and maintains knowledge of all rental and retail products sold at the location.Completes annual competencies of all products to ensure knowledge of current standards.Performs preventative maintenance and asset management of equipment including basic maintenance on vehicles.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Must demonstrate excellent face-to-face customer service. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. In some locations, CDL with appropriate Hazardous Materials certification may be required.
Ability to keep detailed records regarding equipment and medical records. Ability to communicate effectively.
Able to prioritize and organize daily work according to patient needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in equipment maintenance and repair and knowledge of local delivery area is preferred.
