SLG Kegspediter Team Lead

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for daily operations of Kegspediter services including collection, return, and export of empty kegsNetwork planning and optimizationProactive resolution to risks or issues with serviceEnsure achievement of critical KPIs essential for healthy operations, e.g., Transport Cost per Keg, On-Time Performance, Load Cube, Warehouse Inventory Levels, etc.Responsible for accurate and timely close activitiesBuild relationship of trust and respect within the team by listening to their concerns and understanding their needsBuild skills and confidence within the team through effective delegation and stretch assignmentsMotivate the team to successful accomplishment of goals through celebrated wins, empowerment, accountability, and positive reinforcementsBuild relationship with customer to understand their needs and develop solutionsBuild relationships with suppliers/vendors to build and enhance operationsCreates new processes and procedures for operations based on new services enabledManage customer service-related issues including inquiries for informationCertain solutions may require analyzing complex issues, understanding the end goal, and developing a project plan to meet that goalCandidate will work across a matrix organization to get project results in a collaborative and efficient mannerEnsure Hillebrand employees, vendors and clients are compliant with world-class transportation and warehousing safety and compliance standards
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience Required: 5+ years in supply chain management industry (warehousing, logistics, transportation, shipping) Desirable: Warehouse/fulfillment/transportation experience Ability to persuade and lead. Ability to recognize and cultivate talent, and develop high-potential employees into high-performing employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25% Physical ability to: communicate clearly and accurately; frequently move items weighing up to 75 pounds; operate a computer and other office equipment.
