Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team in Windsor, CT. The role involves operating coating machinery to produce adhesive products. Training will be provided on the first shift for up to six months, with the regular schedule being 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Tuesday through Friday.

ResponsibilitiesLoad jumbo rolls onto the unwind and adjust machine components for specific products.Slit and rewind continuous strips of adhesive products onto the core.Obtain work orders from the supervisor and label products and cartons.Pack products into or onto the correct corrugate packaging.Produce quality products timely in accordance with established standards.Ensure all operations comply with ISO Procedures.Acquire materials specified in the work order BOM and load jumbo onto the unwind.Set up specified equipment for the product being manufactured.Perform required safety checks and inspections before start-up.Document all required information following established inventory procedures.Efficiently produce all types of adhesive products and inspect finished products for defects.Perform minor maintenance duties and repairs as needed.Maintain cell housekeeping and assist with general department housekeeping.Promote teamwork within the department.Essential SkillsProven ability to work as a team within a diverse workforce in a manufacturing environment.At least 6 months of operating experience, preferably as an extrusion operator.Mechanical skills if no previous operating experience.Basic mathematical skills and proficiency with fractions.Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs.Strong attention to detail.Must have SD (static dissipative) safety shoes, especially in the coating department.Flexibility to move to a Tuesday-Friday schedule.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with coating, machine operation, assembly, press brake, inspection, hand tools, production, and laminator/slitter/extrusion operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our production environment is very clean and can be loud. In the wet area, employees are required to wear a hair net and be clean-shaven. The schedule is 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Tuesday to Friday, with potential additional hours on Friday and Saturday.
