SLM Senior Program Analyst/SME

KBR is seeking a Service Life Modification (SLM) Senior Program Analyst/SME to join our team in support of the F/A-18 EFG Air Vehicle IPT. This role reports to the PMA-265 Air Vehicle IPTL (Level 2) and SLM DIPTL (Level 3) daily.

The F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) provides critical current and future capabilities in the form of total life cycle support management (cradle to grave) for the F/A-18A-D Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler weapons systems. PMA-265 is responsible for acquiring, delivering, and sustaining the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft, ensuring mission success for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviators, as well as international partners to include Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Spain and Switzerland.

Role and Responsibilities:

Manages the coordination of multiple stakeholders and supports and oversees multiple program management processes.

Responsible for integration management.

Unification, centralization, and coordination of various activities and deliverables within existing operations of the organization.

Serves as liaison between the program office, contractors, suppliers and Fleet Readiness Centers on matters related to the modification program. 

Requires continuous communication and interface with various PMA-265 teams and numerous external organizations, such as FRCs, Fleet Support Teams (FST), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), and NAVAIR Competencies and F-18 SLM partner the Boeing Company.

At least 75% travel will be required for this role which will include domestic overnight travel.

Organizing, leading, and coordinating SLM activities in concert with other members of this multidisciplinary IPT to include NAVSUP, DLA, FST, TYCOM, and Fleet squadrons.

Requires close coordination with contracting, acquisition, and logistics professionals to coordinate requirements, contracts, and execution.

Evaluates program risk, technical performance measures and contractor performance, and for developing, recommending and implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure program success. Recommends alternative course(s) of action in order to mitigate emerging program risks.

Leads the evaluation and reporting of schedule and technical performance to include prediction of future program performance.

Ensures the expectations outlined in the modification plans are fulfilled.

Represents the program office, as directed, at meetings to provide ECP modification plans and progress, reconciliation of conflicting information, provide advice on decision-making alternatives, and coordinate with all stakeholders.  

Fully understands the Engineering Change Proposals and Technical Directives.

Performs analysis of F/A-18 modifications including work operations, progress, resource utilization, and intra- and inter-modification line balances.  Identifies trends, significant program accomplishments, merit and deficiency situations.  

Provides the status of F-18 support equipment associated with each ECPs at the site as requested.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university AND at least 12 years of experience in a military, business or technical related experience is required OR an AA/AS degree with 14 years of business or technical experience OR a HS Diploma with 18 years of business or technical experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Must have experience at the senior program analyst level working with the F-18 partner Boeing on the F-18 SLM program.

Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). An active secret level security clearance is required.

Must be able to travel as required. At least 75% which will be domestic overnight travel.

Preferred/Desired Experience:

Computer skills: Microsoft office (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT), and capability to learn, use and understand this position’s required unique computer applications.  

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40 hours/week

Compensation:

$105,360 - $157,630

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
