Pays jackpot winnings and ensures that guest' needs are met by closely monitoring machine candle lights. Must provide excellent guest service & treat people as if they were a guest in your own home.
Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesKnows and abide by Hard Rocks policies, procedures, internal controls and courtesy guidelines.
Performs all duties in accordance with state gaming regulations.
Responsible for quickly answering illuminated candle lights on slot machines.
Enrolls new guests in the Encore players club.
Maintains & continually updates knowledge of regulations set forth by the Mississippi Gaming Commission and the Mississippi State Tax Commission regarding attendant regulations.
Responsible for verifying and paying Hand Pay Jackpots according to jackpot payout policies and procedures.
Safeguards company assets assigned.
Completes W2G Form for taxable Jackpots.
Makes minor repairs on slot machines.
Maintains knowledge of property information & memorabilia.
Maintains cleanliness of assigned work area.
Ensures making card for guests as outlined by departmental performance standards.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities RequiredHigh school diploma or GED.
Must be able to obtain a Mississippi gaming badge (work permit).
General working knowledge of Slot Department operations.
350 hours or three months as a slot attendant or slot technician preferred.
Must project a professional and positive image.
High energy level.
Good judgment and common sense.
Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Ability to work all shifts to include weekends and holidays also work 6 day work weeks when required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written).
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
Basic knowledge of mathematics. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
TrainingAll employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
