Slot Tech Supervisor
Responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service. Maintains confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information. Reports to the Slot Performance Manager and in the absence of the reports to the Slot Operations Director. Rebuilds parts/equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned. Assists in performing repairs as needed. Schedules preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices. Ensures all new products are configured and functioning properly. Makes recommendations to the Slot Performance Manager to improve areas of concern. Coordinates the install and maintenance of the slot data systems equipment. Assists the Slot Performance Manager in the coordination and implementation of all gaming inspections. Preforms any duties in the scope of Slot Technicians responsibilities. Circulates through slot floor ensuring all slot product is in good repair and up for play. Ensures that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized. Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position. Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly. Performs other duties or projects as required. Must follow all company/property department policies and procedures as well as comply with existing DGE rules and regulations. Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress. related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment. Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas. Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent vocational training preferred. Minimum 5 year Slot Repair with some Electronics and Supervisory experience. Working knowledge of computer software applications and practical usage preferred. Must have a valid New Jersey Casino Employee Registration or be eligible to obtain a license.
