Slot Technician - Full Time, Overnights

In this role you will start your shift at 8:50pm and work overnight. This is a 5 day work week, full time with great benefits you are eligible for after 90 days of employment. Pay is $20hr

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for slot machine repairs and technical maintenance.

Job Description:

Installs, tests and maintains electronic gaming equipment and components, systems, and sub-systems required for continuous and efficient business operations.  Makes required adjustments, repairs and/or replaces such equipment when needed.  Performs duties of Slot Attendant/Host when needed to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum performance of all slot machines on the casino floor.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Education Preferred:

High School diploma or equivalent.  Must possess a set of hand tools sufficient for completion of assigned duties.  1 - 2 years of technical training, proficient in the use of tools of the trade including hand power and machine equipment, testing devices and instruments preferred.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, as well as lie on back to work inside the confines of a slot cabinet for long periods of time; must be able to push and lift weight up to 75 pounds; must be able to see small objects in poorly lit areas; must be able to work in areas containing high noise levels and secondary smoke; must be able to work at  a fast pace and in stressful situations; must be able to read, write, speak and understand English; must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Licensing and Certification Required:

Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license.  This license is paid for by the employee.  Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. pays for the annual renewal fees.
