**Our Opportunity** Chewy is seeking a detail-oriented **Slotting Specialist** to join our team in **Houston, TX** ! This role is perfect for someone with expertise in inventory management and slotting within an e-commerce environment. At Chewy, we offer competitive benefits, career development opportunities, and a supportive, innovative workplace culture where you can thrive. **What You’ll Do** + Use data-driven insights to improve efficiency by slotting and reslotting inventory to balance pick modules, zones, and levels, maximizing throughput. + Perform daily slotting tasks to ensure items are accurately classified and positioned before arriving at the Fulfillment Center. + Monitor site-level compliance with established slotting, consolidation, and capacity programs across Chewy’s network. + Support facility leaders with capacity planning and provide clear, actionable updates on progress. + Resolve bin-related issues and maintain detailed records of floor bin configurations, including maps. + Partner with Inbound, Inventory Control (IC), and WMS leadership teams to optimize bin configurations and inventory movement. + Develop prioritized worklists for consolidation teams to streamline daily operations. + Lead cross-functional projects to consolidate and reconfigure inventory locations. + Collaborate with IC/QA teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and investigate root causes of defects. **What You’ll Bring** + Proven experience in inventory management and slotting in an e-commerce or fulfillment center environment (experience with pick modules is a plus). + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL experience is a strong advantage. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for creating efficient solutions. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working both independently and collaboratively. + Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. + Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred but not required. **Why Chewy?** At Chewy, we value innovation, collaboration, and growth.
