SM/AD, Innovation Collaboration Center - Computational Biology

A.Position ObjectiveWe are seeking a highly motivated individual with expertise in computational biology to contribute to target discovery and evaluation through compilation & analysis of public domain information, as well as to build and maintain internal system and database for drug development decision making.B.Duties and Responsibilitiesl Build and maintain database by compiling and analyzing public domain information by literature and database miningl Work closely with biologists to develop methodologies for drug target discovery.l Participate in the identification and evaluation of potential drug targets by extracting public validated evidencel Support target value assessment and indication selection through comprehensive analysis of biological networks. Design and conduct omics-related data analysis processes, including but not limited to transcriptomics, genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.l Build a decision-making data criteria system by extracting and compiling public and experimental reported compound testing resultsl Build a semi-automatic scientific report writing system l Participate in due diligence for collaborator in AI initiativesl Prepare high-quality presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate project advancements and strategies.C.Key RequirementsEducation and Backgroundl Master’s degree or higher in computational biology or a related field, with more than 5 years of experience in biological data mining. l A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.l Strong understanding of biological concepts, facilitating effective communication with biologists. l Proven experience in biological target discovery is preferred. l Excellent analytical skills, with a proven track record of identifying key biological challenges and proposing innovative solutions.l Proficient programming skills in languages such as R, Python, or C/C++, and comfortable with Unix/Linux environments.l Experience in multi-dimensional data analysis and familiarity with deep learning/machine learning/AI is preferred.l Experience in AIDD is a plus though not required.

D.Communication and Presentation Skills:l Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.l Strong presentation skills, capable of clearly conveying complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
