Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading the data science and analytics function within the Human Resources and Administration department. Key focus areas include designing and deploying advanced analytics solutions to address HR&A challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing data models and databases with HR&A. this role will have extensive experience in data science and strong expertise in applied analytics, and understanding of HR-related processes.

Primary Responsibility Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of databases and dashboards to support the HR&A data infrastructure and analytics needs. Design, develop and implement data models and algorithms to analyze complex HR data and uncover hidden patterns and trends. Ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation by implementing appropriate database management practices and techniques. Collaborate with HR business partners and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Manage a team of data scientists and database administrators, setting clear goals and ensuring continuous skill development. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, and identify opportunity to leverage new technologies for data analytics and database management. Implement and maintain data governance processes within HR to ensure data integrity, security and compliance. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science, with a strong understanding of HR processes and data. Expertise in database management, strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques, such as regression, classification and clustering, to address HR-specific challenges Proficient in programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and familiarity with HR analytics platforms. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. Demonstrated experience in managing sensitive HR data with a strong commitment to data privacy and security.
