Ricart Automotive seeks experienced Automotive Diesel Technicians / Mechanics (Small to Heavy-Duty) to join our growing team in Groveport and Columbus, OH. Diesel Technician / Mechanic Benefits: + Relocation assistance AND sign-on bonus offered to qualified candidate + Most lucrative pay plan in the market + Health, dental, and vision insurance + 401K + Life Insurance policy + Short and Long Term Disability Insurance + Vacation Pay to rest and relax + Paid Holidays and more! + Continued learning credits + Air-conditioned shop Diesel Technician / Mechanic Job Responsibilities: + Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. + Perform maintenance services thoroughly and safely. + Recommend additional repairs and services as needed + Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy + Communicate directly with the service consultants on vehicle's needed repairs and maintenance + Properly diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturers' and dealers' specifications + Properly follow manufacturer's repair procedures + Conduct a wide variety of diagnosis and repairs on all vehicle systems + Provide accurate and complete repair estimates to the service consultants + Working knowledge of shop equipment and tools Diesel Technician / Mechanic Job Requirements: + 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic + Heavy / Medium-duty vehicle repair strongly preferred + GM and/or ASE certifications a plus + Maintain technical capabilities to ensure proficient and safe use of tools and equipment. + Maintain factory and ASE training as pertinent to your position + Desire to learn and progress + Valid driver's license with 6 points or less Ricart Automotive is an equal-opportunity employer.
