In addition, Manufacturing Engineers function as a specialist and subject matter expert for technical planning throughout a manufacturing facility. **What You Will Do:** + Analyze requirements and make recommendations for facility systems, processes, training, equipment needs, and engineering product designs + Complete both specialized and broad-based assignments / projects which may require collaboration and integration with other functions + Evaluate projects and prepare feasibility studies to define desired results, assess value proposition and determine project plans + Data Analyze, provide specifications and perform acquisition for manufacturing process + Perform capital forecasting correlation and reporting as it relates to new product introduction, product capacity increases, machine replacement and process continuous improvement + Perform process improvement activities to reduce material and machining cost + Develop and implement end to end manufacturing processes in line with Caterpillar standard processes + Optimization of robot assembly procedures and vision procedures according to NPI requirements **Education requirement:** + Master's or technical school degree in automation/AI-related disciplines in Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. **What skills you have:** + Familiar with 3D design software and plant simulation and familiar with PLC program. + Have a technical foundation in intelligent manufacturing, understand the basic principles of vision systems and software programming + Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills + Good oral English skills are necessary **Posting Dates:** April 29, 2025 - May 30, 2025 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
