Smart Manufacturing OMT Data Science Director

As a Smart Manufacturing Assembly and Test OMT Data Science Director at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business. The team will look into applying industry-leading the best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Define Smart MFG and Data Science roadmap to support OMT FE fabs, ensure top execution and business value deliveryLead and review requirement analysis and prioritization based on business needs and requirements for FE applications in OMT fabsConduct regular sync up with OMT FE partners to share ideas and findingsHelp defining and share roadmap on the latest technology / solution from SMTS and MFG IT that could potentially be utilized for FE & TD in OMTAssess solutions capability within and outside of the company and influence new solution to be brought into the companyWork closely with multiple projects team to understand the status and help needed from cross functional teamReview and validate user acceptance testing (UAT) completionBecome the key counterpart for OMT FE executivesMonitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projectsManaging competing resources and priorities

Requirements:

A bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business / Engineering / Computer Science or related fieldProven multi-year experience in leading Data Science and/ or FE/ TD teams in the semiconductor industry, ideally in FE OpsStrong business acumenExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skillsExcellent documentation & communication skillsExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skillsA history of leading and supporting successful projects and transformation
