SMB Account Manager (Small and Medium Businesses)

Job Description

We’re looking for an Account Manager, Small and Medium Businesses to join Procore’s Sales team. In this role you’ll serve as the main point of contact for existing small and medium business accounts while also leveraging your understanding of Procore’s products and processes to maximize renewals and expansion. You’ll collaborate with Customer Success and other Sales members to maintain and expand our customer revenue base. 

This position can be based in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX or Tampa, FL offices. We are looking for candidates to join us immediately!

What you'll do:

Timely follow up and qualification of new prospects from either customer requests generated by marketing, or leads developed by our Customer Success teamManage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.comDevelop and execute prospecting plans for territory development to establish rapport, build relationships, and create opportunitiesNetwork and research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and obtain business requirementsMaintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts; provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as requestedUpgrade and expand product offerings to current SMB clients in your immediate book of businessPursue and increase knowledge of key competitors to ensure that our value proposition is effectively communicated to customersAchieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targetsObtain repeat business, referrals, and references by applying an understanding of the unique requirements of your customers

What we’re looking for:

2+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2BExperience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology desiredProven record of success in an inside sales based selling modelAbility and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environmentAbility to develop trusted relationshipsPost-sale revenue expansion experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office products and online collaboration toolsExperience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.comProven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $22.85 - $31.41 hourly plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $79,200 - $108,900. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
