Your mission will be…

Leverage your advanced SQL skills and dbt expertise to develop efficient data transformations and models.Leverage your Snowflake data engineering experience to design and implement scalable, high-performing data architectures.Implement robust data sharing strategies within Snowflake, leveraging stored procedures, user-defined functions, and external network access.Develop data ingest strategies to seamlessly integrate new data sources for data products into the Snowflake environment.Integrate Confluent, AWS and other platforms with Snowflake to enable end-to-end data pipelines.Develop APIs to facilitate data sharing and integration between various systems.Ensure the smooth integration of new data sources and platforms into the Siemens Data Cloud.Work closely with cross-functional teams to harmonize and standardize Snowflake deployments, enhancing consistency and efficiency.Provide expert troubleshooting and support to resolve issues related to Snowflake services and infrastructure.Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake and cloud technology updates, seamlessly integrating new capabilities.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for the Siemens Data Cloud community.

We are looking for someone with…

Master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience in Snowflake data engineering and architecture.Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific features and capabilities, dbt is a plus.Preferably experience in cloud engineering and AWS.Expertise in integrating platforms like Kafka with Snowflake is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Fluency in English (oral and written).
