As an Industrial Engineer (IE) of the Product and Systems Engineering Organization within the Heterogeneously Integrated Group (HIG) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with a team of Product & Systems Engineers, PDTLs, cross-functional Planners and Program Managers to solve complex problems. Your key functions include early product life-cycle demand modelling, scenario builds for new targets captured in the project release document (schedule, quality, costs, manufacturing readiness and budget), and optimization of business processes. Additional functions include collaboration with cross functional teams in support of product development demand, enabling new product flows and manufacturing exceptions, and assisting with data attribute analysis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead discussions with stakeholders across the Technology & Products Group (TPG), Global Supply Chain (GSC), and Business Units to capture and model HIG product development requirements

Design and/or enhance models as needed in order to enable accurate and effective data representative of HIG PSE product development requirements

Collaborate with Product Development Team (PDT) and support PDT requests for modeling demand based on multiple and dynamic variables.

Analyze data, make data driven decisions and recommendations to customer groups 

Forecast long-term engineering demand and ensure demand records are as specific as necessary to meet requirements, including special flow requirements and exceptions

Collaborate with GSC teams to represent HIG product development demand signals through the appropriate systems and communications

Support definition of optimal logistical flows for ever-evolving Eng solutions. Includes new product flow definition, attribute creation and maintenance

Provide experimental support for Product & Systems Engineering development (ex: support demand plan scenarios, reflows, fuse sort) 

Manage engineering inventory and product line cleanup

Provide technical training and expertise, including the creation and maintenance of documentation supporting evolving job functions 

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Engineering relevant field, Industrial Engineering (or IE-equivalent degrees) with minimum of 2 years of proven experience in planning

Knowledge of Demand Management processes.

Strong data analytical background, including data query languages (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

High Bandwidth Memory(HBM) is a plus.

Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills

Passion for process optimization, efficiency, and automation

The ability to work independently in a very fast paced environment and adapt to daily changes

Understanding of capacity planning and forecasting tools and applications

Strong multitasking and organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situations

Ability to delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment

Passion for investigate root-cause and provide corrective action for system and quality inefficiencies

Excellent Project Management skills

Strong presentation skills

Effective communication skills in written and spoken English

Ability to work with a variety of cultures and with cross-functional teams

Availability to attend evening meetings as needed
