Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional to join our EU direct tax advisory team. This role will primarily focus on supporting Amazon's high-growth Consumer business in the EMEA region, with a particular emphasis on the Italian market.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage tax audits and controversies in Italy and other jurisdictions, coordinating responses and earning trust with tax authorities.
• Monitor and analyse legislative developments in Italy and other key EMEA markets, ensuring compliance.
• Provide strategic tax advice on international corporate income tax issues across projects and new business initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth technical analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving on complex tax matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, legal, accounting, and finance.
• Investigate and respond to internal and external information requests.
