About Qualitest
Qualitest is the world’s largest AI-driven testing and quality assurance company, helping organisations accelerate digital change and transformation. We work with public-sector bodies across central government, local authorities, health, education and arm’s-length organisations to de-risk delivery and improve citizen-facing services.

Role Summary
This is a hands-on sales role focused on generating and progressing new business across the UK public sector. You will:
Be the first human touchpoint for many prospects.
Generate high-quality first meetings and qualified opportunities.
Manage early-stage sales cycles, from initial interest through to proposal and commercial discussions.
Work closely with pre-sales, senior sales and bid teams to convert pipeline into revenue and improve our bid win rate.

What You’ll Do
Pipeline generation & prospecting
Identify, research and qualify new opportunities across central government, agencies/ALBs, devolved administrations, NHS, local government, education and other public bodies.
Prospect independently, generating a meaningful portion of your own opportunities through targeted outreach.
Outbound excellence
Run multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone, events) to secure meetings with senior digital, delivery, technology and operational leaders.
Craft concise, value-led messages aligned to public-sector priorities such as risk reduction, value for money, compliance and citizen experience.
Discovery, qualification & early-stage deal management
Run structured discovery to understand drivers, pain points, timescales and budget.
Qualify opportunities and guide prospects from initial interest through to proposal and early commercial discussions.
Capture clear notes, actions and next steps, and book follow-up sessions with pre-sales/sales.
Proposals, solutions & internal collaboration
Support the development of proposals, SoWs and solutions, working with delivery, pricing, technical and bid teams to shape outcome-based offerings.
Collaborate with account managers to ensure a smooth handover from new business into delivery and ongoing account growth.
Events, networking & market presence
Attend sector events, roundtables, frameworks briefings and industry forums.
Follow up swiftly to convert event conversations into meetings and qualified opportunities.
Account mapping & research
Support light research on target accounts (organisation charts, key programmes, incumbent suppliers, procurement routes) to inform strategy and messaging.
Map 2–3 key accounts over time, identifying key stakeholders and potential opportunities.
Handover & collaboration
Orchestrate clean transitions to pre-sales and account executives; brief internal teams and join early calls to close the loop.
Partner with marketing on campaigns; share field feedback to refine messaging, content and targeting.
Cadence, reporting & hygiene
Maintain accurate activity, contact and opportunity data in CRM.
Produce weekly pipeline and activity reports, including forecasted deals and progress against quarterly and annual targets.
