Snr Specialist Category Mgt Running EM

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Supports Sr. Manager BU Running EM, in executing EM short and medium-term objectives for the category by delivering across all KPIs.

 

Execute Global Concepts-to-Consumer strategies in a locally relevant way for EM by working closely with the Category Manager, BU Running in each Cluster within Emerging Markets, considering different consumer needs and distribution channels.

 

Work on seasonal BU range building and alignment process within the parameters set by the EM CTC Range Architecture team (Category Input, ONE EM Range selection, Definition of Mandatory range, internal GTM Meetings)

 

Support in building a product range for the dedicated Category that fulfils the needs of the EM Hub and Clusters, which is competitive in terms of structure, price and margin.

 

Collaborate regularly with global and cluster counter parts to identify business opportunities in the market which supports driving EM Running strategy

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Tracking and data analytics for ONE EM RANGE KPIs like Business on Hand and YTD performance Act as system champ for the BU (RMA, RMT, GTM milestones, sell-in tools, etc.) Responsible for regular sell thru tracking of key campaigns and franchises. Take charge of all BU ranging activities in RMA and adhere to seasonal timelines as per guidance set by the MOPS Team Responsible for Commercial Input into Global by conducting regular competition analysis of Running Understands the EM consumer retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing strategies

Category Manager, BU Running in each Cluster EM Hub CtC and MOPS team Global Running BU EM Business Intelligence teams ; Strategy Teams & Demand Planning teams EM DTC, WHS and E-com excellence teams

 

KPI’s

 

EM Net Sales, Category growth, Key Franchise growth/share of NS and Go-in Margin EM BU campaign sell thru targets EM Category Range Efficiency, SKU targets Compliance and adherence to EM Ranging Milestones (RMA) Adherence to global deadlines providing meaningful Category Commercial Input

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Advance excel and powerpoint knowledge. Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

In addition, the individual must demonstrate:

 

Passionate for sports, preferably product ranging specific with knowledge of sport Exposure to merchandising approach including assortment planning, FPST, Open to Buy, launch and exit calendars, rate of sales, and also to VM planning & execution Ability to guide optimal range building as per segmentation strategy and option plan (product type, gender, price points) for different channels Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mind-set, ability to think end-to-end Ability to work in agile environment with different culture and nationalities Commercial acumen: Very good numerical and analytical skills Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required

 

Requisite education and Experience/ qualifications

 

University degree in business, ideally with Marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience; 3+ years Merchandising experience including Sales and Retail exposure, ideally in sporting goods, fashion/lifestyle brands Fluent English (verbal and written) Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficient in MS Office
