Job Description
We want to invite an experienced candidate to join our Industry Global finance team. The Sr Finance Business analyst should be well equipped with technical competence on financial analysis and planning. The role offers a unique opportunity to support end-to-end value chain. The position reports directly to the Sr. Finance Manager. Preferred location will be Budapest, where IND has established a team of finance business analysts supporting different regions.
**What is the job about?**
As a Global Senior Finance Business Analyst (Sales), you will support Pumping Solutions within IND division, with information, insightful analysis, financial forecasting, revenue and expense budgeting. You will coordinate workflow among the entities/performance units relating to the Pumping Solutions and need to understand our end-to-end value chain. Responsibilities include monitoring trends, benchmarks, performance follow up, high quality analysis and data support for strategic decisions. This position directly contributes to strategic decisions, providing a forward looking and commercial view.
**Your main responsibilities:**
• Provides analysis of business drivers, financial performance improvement action recommendations, sales analytics, and other performance-based analytics.
• Prepares Budgets, Forecast and Strategic planning and helps securing that planning is supported by initiatives and corrective actions.
• Assists in developing business cases to support strategic initiatives, integrating business plans into planning and following up on Business Cases.
• Oversees full cost allocation and optimizes contribution to Group Profitability on relevant dimensions (segments, customers, products, projects etc.)
• Prepares material and participates ad hoc in monthly business reviews.
• Analyses and reports deviations between budgets, forecasts and actuals.
• Supports and collaborate with price management and discount structures.
• Oversees full cost allocation and optimizes contribution to Group profitability on relevant dimensions (segments, customers, products) for the IND Segment or the assigned Region.
• Super user in dashboard designs, deployment incl. periodic data sourcing.
• Supports in other financial metrics such as overdue, cash flow, WOC Debtors, etc.
• Support in ad-hoc analysis requested from the FBP, Sr finance manager or divisional CFO
• Participate in global business analysis projects
• Acts as sparing partner to business stakeholders with a pro-active and consultancy mindset, and provides financial support to global CSSC and global sales functions (IEM, OEM and Aftermarket)
• Supports on strategic projects and business cases, as well as strategy deployment.
**Your background**
We imagine that you have:
• BS degree in accounting or finance required. Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance role using SAP and TM1 (later preferable).
• Fluency in English
• Experience building planning models, including strategy, budgets, and forecast cycles/programs.
• End-to-end value chain perspective, enabling collection of data from multiple source systems and translation into an aggregate dashboard.
• Ability to challenges proposals and decisions in a constructive, objective and professional way and provide alternative options, keeping the long-term interests of all stakeholders in mind.
• Ability to clearly and concisely summarize data and present conclusions to the Management.
• Proven ability to work closely with different Management levels.
• Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Extensive use of complex spreadsheets and datasets to consolidate and analyze data.
• Style that is collaborative, service oriented and supportive.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently, take ownership and drive tasks to get to conclusions.
• Experience in working with data and reporting platforms such as SAP R3 FI, SD models, SAP Fiori, BW, TM1.
• Super user with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint and PowerBI
