Job Duties and Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of all ongoing security-related activities. This will include but not be limited to tuning, alert creation, incident issues, and regularly scheduled touchpoints Be the main point of contact for security-related technical issues Review the short-term and long-term plans and activities concerning the delivery of services Provide input and mentorship to the tupplier in its resolution of Service delivery problems. See opportunities or issues that might result in the addition, deletion, or modification of the Services, or the terms of the Task Order, irrespective of the initiating party Supervise and take action as the need arises to correct or improve service delivery and performance of services Coordinate day-to-day service delivery issues by addressing and prioritizing the issues affecting the provision of client services Review and call out incidents and problems as needed to Management facilitating the efficient flow of Services management processes between the parties Review the Services management reports Forward issues concerning the relationship between the parties to the Management Committee for its mentorship and recommendations SOC Services supported/expected as a part of this role: real-time monitoring, alert escalation/response, tier 2 security analysis, correlation, SIEM consultation including dashboarding (internal and customer-facing), tuning alerts to identify actionable intelligence, threat intelligence integration, monitoring/detection/response use case development including automation where feasible, integrate as part of the core incident response team, drive daily standup calls, and drive incident analysis and postmortem sessions. Position Qualifications: At least 8+ years of work experience Required skills: SIEM/Splunk Nice to have skills: CrowdStrike Falcon, MS Defender Endpoint Security, McAfee ePO (Policy Orchestrator), McAfee Endpoint Security, McAfee Application Control (Solidcore), and McAfee Web Gateway Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $84,600 to $134,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
