Role Scope and Requirements:

The TOCA Leagues Manager works directly with the General Manager and owns all areas of the soccer leagues tournaments and rentals businesses; including recruitment, retention, and scheduling. This select individual is responsible for upholding the mission of TOCA Leagues through community, friendly competition, and fun at all levels. Must be available to work week nights and weekends. 

Recruiting teams and players by email, text, and call, and contacting former players in database or via social mediaAttend soccer and other local eventsBe present during scheduled leagues & tournamentsSpeak to all players and captainsUpdate and post on social mediaResolve on-field & off-field issuesCreate team, division, tournament, and league schedulesPlace individuals and small groups on teamsMake certain leagues are running timely and properlyMake certain referees and GSRs are arrive on time and perform dutiesMake sure all game results are recorded and entered properly and timely

Knowledge and Experience: 

Passion for soccer, sports, and athletes that is contagiousPositive attitude, high character, relationship builder and a team playerDesire to follow our specific educational and training programWillingness to learn: An individual that is teachable, coachable, moldable, and a continuous learnerStrong track record of building strong, trusting relationshipsExperience in playing or coaching soccer at the club level or higher is preferredCollege degree is preferredTeam leadership skillsConflict resolution skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferredCommunicate effectively the mission, values and vision of our companyKnowledge on multiple technological platforms is preferredAbility to use technology to help the company before more efficient and effective
