Summary

​​The Social Creative Specialist works collaboratively with the Sr. Manager, Brand Creative Content to update and execute the brand’s social media strategy through highly engaging campaigns that build the brand and our Carhartt community. The primary focus will be leading the concepting and executing of our social media plan to drive awareness, engagement, interest, traffic and sales across all Carhartt sales channels. This role will manage the creative output to deliver on our social media plans. The Social Creative Specialist II will work with internal and external creative partners to concept the seasonal stories. They will also be responsible for attending shoots and capturing those seasonal concepts, delivering best in class creative for the social platforms the team has identified.​

Responsibilities

Lead campaign and evergreen content planning across all social platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube), ensuring that all messaging aligns with monthly and weekly marketing goals and themes by partnering with internal and external teams.  Determine the best social media channel mix to achieve our brand strategies and collaborate closely with the Social Media Specialist, Brand Experience, Merchandise, Direct Response, Wholesale Retail Brand, and CCG Marketing teams to drive alignment and support of the robust social media plans.  Lead creation of a best-in-class social creative across all social channels, through new ideas/strategies, seamless execution and constant evolution based on learnings.  Lead the design and review of social media campaign and monthly plans with the Sr. Manager, Brand Creative Content to ensure brand goals are being met.   Establish and monitor appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices  Provide regular updates to team leadership and internal teams; deliver findings and recommendations to leaders in report and presentation formats.  Partner with Crisis Marketing Team to effectively manage and respond to social media crisis that arise throughout the year as soon as they are identified.  Regularly deliver social creative thought-leadership through reports on social trends, audience development and competitive brand insights to the team   Complete other social creative and/or marketing projects as assigned. 

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or other related discipline or equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.  

 

Required Skills and Experience

5 years of experience with social media, social content creation, or related field  Excellent written communication skills.  Passion for and expertise in creative in the social space and navigating the digital marketing landscape  Proactive, self-starter and problem solver  Creative and imaginative with strong conceptual skills.  Ability to capture content and edit to deliver best in class creative  Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.  Established experience with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.  Proficient in Adobe Creative cloud. 

 

Working Conditions

Typical office environment; cubicle/office setting. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required. 

Travel to content creation shoots to collect social content. 

Willing to work evenings and weekends if necessary.  

​​This position has a Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities
