We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Social Media Manager to join us for a 12 Months Fixed Term contract and to help drive our reputation and culture. The role is responsible for developing and executing impactful social media plans for Linnaeus and its sub-brands that support overall business goals. As the in-house subject matter expert, you’ll contribute to plans and projects, provide day-to-day support for our veterinary colleagues, build social media capability in our site teams and sometimes getting involved with earned media work too.
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
This is an exciting and dynamic role with lots of scope to make an impact and shape the future of our social media approach. The role would suit someone who thrives being hands on, managing the full social media chain from planning right through to analysing performance but also has had exposure to social media strategy and working with external agencies.
It would be useful if you’ve operated in a multi-site or brand environment, have experience collaborating strongly with multiple different and often more senior stakeholders and have some working knowledge of the earned media landscape.
An understanding of the veterinary or health care service industry would be helpful. But more importantly, you’ll possess a positive attitude, relish a challenge, be mega-organised, flexible and resilient to thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering and able to meet deadlines.
The corporate affairs team at Linnaeus is small, but we have some exciting plans and ambitions. We’re committed to learning and development, and we’re excited to see how someone can take the opportunity to develop our social media work and run with it. We work predominantly from home with some regular collaboration days and occasional travel to our sites.
